Mint To Be

Hey there! Told you I'd be back today...bet you didn't believe me huh?! This was my look for the wedding I attended last weekend. I fell in love with this dress the moment I laid eyes on it! It didn't exactly fit at the time but I just couldn't pass it up. Plus it was only $11...yes, I said $11. I was determined to make it work and 7 weeks later, I did!!

Dress: Ross ~ Shoes : Betsy Johnson

Accessories : Forever 21 ~ Hair : RPG Show

This was my first time rocking a 'Peter Pan Collar' as well as this color and I must say that I'm a fan of both. I was really feeling myself if you couldn't tell, lol. It's been so long since I've dressed up that I almost forgot what it felt like. Maybe I should find some more weddings to attend ;-)

Would you buy a dress in the wrong size for the right price or am I the only one who does that?!

Enjoy your day!

XOXO,

OMG! I am loving this dress. That color looks great on you. I asked you on youtube a while back about the distance you were from Nashville because I was there a couple of weeks ago and I would have love to have meet you. I have family in Nashville. I have been watching your vlogs for a long time or since you've been vlogging and we have so much in common till it's crazy. You are such a great person and I pray that God continues to bless you and your family.

Yes I buy things in the wrong size quite often, especially when the price is right.. I will make it work some kind of way :)

  4. Love the title. It totally fits the story behind it.
I've never been a fan of anything too close to my neck but it looks great on you. And this color is "mint" for darker skin tones.:-) Its such a great accent color against brown!

Yes, the smart ones will... It worked out great. As always you look beautiful! Enjoy seeing your style combos! <3

    1. Thanks! I only wear the clear lipgloss from VS. It's mint something in a white tube.

  9. Gabe LOVE LOVE the dress n color looks great on you. My only suggestion would have been to have worn a thin blk belt to accentuate your waist line even better. you know how they have those thin belt's with a tiny bow on the front? But you are looking gorgeous DOLL:)

    1. Ooh that would have been pretty cute! 'm usually all about wearing belts around the waist but I didn't even think about one with this dress. I'll have to remember that for the next time. Thanks for the suggestion ;-)

  11. You look gorgeous! Love your dress!

It depends. If I know it's a matter of a few pounds here and there but if it's going to take a lot of work to wear it then I wouldn't buy it. It completely worked for you though. Great find!
