Manicure Monday – Pumped Up Pink

Well hello there, Happy Monday!! As I was looking through my blog the other day and I couldn’t believe that my last Manicure Monday was in December! Like seriously…where are they doing that?!?!?! I mean let’s be real here, it’s not like I stopped polishing my nails. I even grew them out super long and tried my hand at the stiletto trend. What happened? Honestly, I think I just got lazy. So without further ado, it’s time for a new No-Chip Manicure 😉

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri 125 Pumped Up Pink

Last week, I made the decision to chop my nails down and start all over. For whatever reason they were chipping and breaking off like crazy. Instead of holding on to the 4 long nails I still had left, I just had to let them go. Hopefully they’ll grow back stronger over the next month.

This is a new color and I think I like it…I definitely hated it after I first put it on but it’s starting to grow on me. My camera wasn’t doing a very good job of picking up the true color so I had to take a picture with the flash (which isn’t my favorite thing to do) ;-  I guess it’s alright. What do you think??

Well that’s it for now. Hope you have a wonderful day and I’ll see you on Wednesday with a new post!

XOXO,

I like it, I really think it's gorgeous on you. I'm definitely going to see if I can find it for myself.

I really like the color, not too dark, not too light, perfect pink it's just right. 🙂 However, I'm curious, do you still use a base & top coat with the Sally Hansen Insta Dry? If so what kind would you recommend for a shinny lasting nail finish?

Hey there! Yep, I still use them both. At the moment my favorites are the China Glaze Base Coat and the INM Out The Door Topcoat…both can be found at Sally's and I belive CVS. Sally Hansen and CoverGirl make pretty good base coats as well. Hope this helps 😉
