Manicure Monday – Gradient Sunset

Hey there! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Unfortunately it’s back to the workplace πŸ™ Anyway, for this week’s No-Chip Manicure I decided to try my hand at the gradient trend. After carefully studying The Nailasaurus: Gradient Tutorial, I took the plunge!

Essie 858 Meet Me At Sunset

CoverGirl Q084 Wild Rose

Since it was my first time, I wanted to use similar colors in case it didn’t come out right. It actually turned out great but now I wish I would have used more contrasting colors so that you can actually see the pattern. Overall, I have to say that I am pleased with the final look and can’t wait to try this again!

Have you ever experimented with gradient nails? Any tips you can share??

XOXO,

These are so pretty! Looking like a fruity cocktail over there lady! lol I did some ombre nails with different shades of blue and even with Seche Vite they lasted like 3 days. Love the look but it just wasn't enough polish to hold up the way I did it.

Mmm, a fruity cocktail sounds good! I'm currently on day 3 and going strong…hopefully I can make it to at least 5 days. It took some time to get this done and I want to enjoy it πŸ˜‰
