Cherry Cream Cheese Cookies

**Disclaimer: I made these before I started my WW journey but I can still eat them now because they’re only about 4 points per serving. (Dough makes about 24 servings)

1/4 cup butter, softened * 8 oz. cream cheese, softened * 1 egg (I used 2) * 1/4 tsp vanilla

1 box yellow cake mix (I used white cake mix instead) * 1 can cherry pie filling

*Cream the butter and cream cheese in a bowl

*Blend in egg(s) and vanilla with hand mixer

*Add in cake mix (1/3 at a time so that it mixes well)

*Cover and chill for 30 minutes to 1 hour

*Preheat oven to 375

*Drop rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet

*Bake for 8-12 minutes or until tan (it took mine about 15 minutes)

*Push down a circle in the middle of each cookie and fill with about 3-4 cherries

*Cool on wire rack

EAT UP!!
